Common questions
There are two separate parts: the notary fee per notarial act (per signature/seal), which Idaho keeps reasonable, and a separate flat mobile travel fee for coming to you — disclosed before your appointment. Multiple documents on one trip share the single travel fee, so a local single-document visit is typically $40–$75 all-in. Loan-signing and seller packages are billed as a flat package. After-hours, weekend, and urgent same-day visits may add a small fee. You always get the number before we start.
For general notarizations and many loan signings we offer same-day appointments and can often arrive within a couple of hours. Loan packages are scheduled to your closing timeline. For urgent or bedside needs, call or text our after-hours line and we’ll do everything we can to fit you in.
You likely need an apostille: a state-level certification (issued by the Idaho Secretary of State) that authenticates the notarization so a foreign government will accept the document. We notarize the underlying document if needed, prepare and submit the apostille request, track it, and return the certified set to you. Some countries require an additional embassy legalization step, which we’ll explain and can coordinate.
